Mari and Peridot are planning something special for their parents' anniversary: a big surprise party! But when a morbid discovery seems to bring a curse down on their family, it's up to the twins to rescue their parents and rid themselves of the dark entity before it's too late.

Douleur Exquise is an adventure game made in RPG Maker VX Ace. The game is classified as psychological horror, and thus contains dark themes including violence, harsh language, and disturbing imagery. Please play at your own risk.

The alpha build is out now, with placeholder graphics and a small sampler of gameplay.
